<trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>The article presents a review of the literature data on the results of corneal crosslinking (CXL) for the treatment of keratoconus (KC) in pediatric patients. There are many reports on the results of corneal CXL in children with KC, but most studies were conducted in small cohort groups, have a short follow-up period, and there are conflicting opinions on the effectiveness of different protocols for this procedure. The use of this procedure in the treatment of pediatric KC stops or slows down its progression according to the results of all studies. Due to the rapid progression of KC in childhood, some authors suggest the use of corneal CXL even in the absence of documentary evidence of disease progression. The development of the most optimal corneal CXL protocol with high efficiency and safety for children of different age groups remains an important problem, which requires further research.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>кератоконус</kwd><kwd>кросслинкинг</kwd><kwd>детский возраст</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>keratoconus</kwd><kwd>crosslinking</kwd><kwd>children</kwd></kwd-group><funding-group><funding-statement xml:lang="ru">Работа выполнена при поддержке гранта РНФ № 24-75-10073, https://rscf.ru/project/24-75-10073/</funding-statement><funding-statement xml:lang="en">The work was carried out with the support of a grant from the Russian Science Foundation № 24-75-10073, https://rscf.ru/project/24-75-10073/</funding-statement></funding-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><title>References</title><ref id="cit1"><label>1</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">Vohra V, Tuteja S, Gurnani B, Chawla H.
