Abstract

This article presents an analysis of the literature on the etiology, pathogenesis, histology, and clinical picture of Peters’ anomaly. Based on this data and their own experience, the authors describe the key differential diagnosis criteria and treatment strategies, provide a prognosis and recommendations for the management of patients with this severe congenital anomaly.
